Kurth Kiln 2019 Heritage Festival

Start at 10.00am, with Official Opening at 11.00am
by Cardinia Shire Cr Brett Owen, and
featuring the “Weathered Heads” Band
Come and join in the fun at the picturesque and historic Kurth Kiln site,
where there will be much to do, to see and hear, such as:
Historic and Social Events
Vintage Cars
Blacksmith demonstrating his art
Historic and Machinery Displays
Craft Displays, Environmental Displays
Craft and Spinning Displays, Sheep Shearing,
Games & Face Painting for the Children
Meet the Huskies and much more,
including short and long bush walks for walking enthusiasts.
Refreshments will be catered for by the Hoddles Creek Red Cross
The Festival will be at the Kurth Kiln Picnic Ground in Kurth Kiln Regional Park, corner
Beenak & Soldiers Roads, 7km north of Gembrook (Melway Reference Page 14 R-10).

Cordelia’s Potted Operas

Cordelia’s Potted Opera provides an environment for young singers to nurture their talent. They are able to learn a wide variety of skills associated with becoming well rounded performers in the world of opera. As many of the Potted Operas are semi-staged, these young artists also have the opportunity to practise their stagecraft. They are mentored by the more experienced performers. The focus is always on fun and professionalism.

Come and network with supporters and stakeholders from along the proposed HPNL routes and meet microlight pilot Amellia Formby from https://wingthreads.com/ who is flying around Australia for shorebirds. This event is being funded through the PPWCMA Community Grants program and auspiced by Westernport Swamp Landcare.
