Winter sees the return of the critically endangered Orange-bellied Parrot (OBP) to mainland Victoria & South Australia. Learn about this rare migratory parrot & the value of the Western Port Ramsar Wetland to the species long-term survival as we:

  • Get a behind-the-scenes tour of Moonlit Sanctuary’s OBP captive breeding facility
  • Visit a Western Port OBP winter survey site
  • Hear from experts in the OBP Recovery Group

Lunch, entry to Moonlit Sanctuary & transport to the winter survey site is provided. And at the conclusion of the tour explore Moonlit Sanctuary’s other wildlife.

Spaces are limited for this free event & preference will be given to local residents of the northern Western Port coastal communities.
